Mount Everest’s Dragon

We all know the dragon of Mount Everest is fake, or is it?  With the strong winds and snow piling on my face, it is not easy to climb Mount Everest.  With snow as cold as space, everything’s cold.  If you’re thinking, “If you’re complaining so much just go,” then you don’t understand, I needed to get to the top for glory.

As I was climbing, I slipped and was hanging onto a rock and underneath me was certain death.  I was swinging to build momentum and like that, I jumped and barely made it onto a thick pile of snow.  Luckily, I jumped at that particular moment because a few seconds later the rock fell to be shattered on the floor of Nepal, I sighed with relief.

At this point I could nearly see the top but that wasn’t the biggest of my concerns I heard growling and rumbling.  A few seconds later there was a crash, I peaked down with confusion and fear and saw a dragon the size of Mount Everest itself.  I was in horror we were looking eye to eye.

The dragon looked as if he hadn’t eaten in years, which meant he was coming for me.  I picked up a very sharp icicle and started throwing snowballs at the dragon but that didn’t stop it from crashing head first into me.  I got my icicle and grabbed the dragons wing.  Slowly and steadily I climbed up his cold and scaly back.  I stabbed the dragon with the icicle and out came a burning vibrant blue liquid (which was probably blood).  I lost my grip and fell.  Now the dragon was chasing towards me at very high speeds.

I fell into a pile of snow and next to me was a dark and mysterious cave.  I went inside hoping the dragon wouldn’t see me.  A few seconds later the dragon broke into the cave but he couldn’t fit in.  Every icicle from the roof shattered to the floor.  His breath was as cold as Neptune.  His teeth were as sharp as daggers, he ferociously tried to eat me.  But second after second more of the ravenous dragon came in.  There were two exits, one which was covered by a dragon and one which was falling 8848m to my death.

I was stuck.

  • Oh my gosh, what a choice. A 8848m drop or dinner for a dragon!
