A Fiery Imagination

It was a beautiful morning, the sun was setting, the wind was twirling and swirling peacefully.  The trees were swaying side to side.  I thought about Flame the dragon from my book with his black scales and razor sharp teeth and thick smoke covering his face.

Suddenly, I heard a loud thud on my ceiling.  I checked out of my window and my brother had accidently kicked his new black and white Addidas ball.  “Oy, what do you think you’re doing?” I shouted to him.

“Nothing,” he answered.  The ball makes a loud bang as it fell down on the ground.  There was a loud thud on the ceiling again.  It was once more.

“Stop it you’re so annoying.  Don’t you know how to stop it?” I stammered.

“Sorry,” he said.

There’s another loud thud on the ceiling, this time I don’t say anything I just sit there with my arms crossed.  I felt like I was about to burst.

“Hey, my ball hasn’t come down,” wails my brother.  This time his ball hadn’t seemed to come down.  I leaned through the window curious to see where the ball had gone.

I saw thick smoke drifting down and my face was drenched with it.  That’s when I saw it, black scaly skin and glowing green eyes staring at me and CRASH!  I ran as rapidly as I can to one of my walls.  I felt dizzy with all the thoughts running around and around in my head.  The window shattered like deadly snowflakes lying on my bedroom floor.

The dragon’s face was now stuck in my window blackening my room with smoke billowing from his nostrils.  I could now feel something red and wet wrapping around me until I couldn’t move.  I froze, I was now being dragged slowly towards him.  I tried to run the other way but I couldn’t.  I wriggled every way I could bending this way and that way but the more I did the dragon held me tighter until I felt like I was being strangled.
