Do You Believe That You Can Stop Bullying?
DO YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU CAN STOP BULLYING?
From time to time bullying has been seen, heard and felt across the globe. Innocent people are suffering from head to toe; brain and heart. To show bulling is not good we had a whole school ODD SOCK DAY!.
Odd Sock Day is a part of anti-bullying week because odd socks are different. This means and proves that every one is different in their own special way. But this does not mean that we are all socks and one of us is fluffy and the other is a trainer sock. Every year we celebrate a thing called anti-bullying week. This year, we had Odd Sock Day . You could have had another thing but Heathcote Primary chose odd socks .
BULLYING is unacceptable in lots of forms. It’s like you’ve been badly hurt and you’ve been scarred for life. It’s exactly like that. Bullying is something that sticks with you for the rest of your life as Grace from the anti-bullying workshop taught us. She brought Charlotte up to the front and we stuck sticky notes on Charlotte that said kind words about her. Let’s just say, there was a lot of words on her. We did this since those words will stay with Charlotte throughout her life. If anyone ever dared or tried to tell Charlotte something horrible, or in fact anyone, it’s exactly like a kind word – it sticks with you for the rest of your life .
Here are some of the pictures we drew in class of odd socks.
These pictures are from Jess, Gurshaan, Alex, Rayan, Sienna .
Do you think that you can stop bulling in all its forms? I want you to go home and tell your parents about bullying, then tell your sisters and brothers and family. Let’s stop bulling together.
